What If We Tried This?

Give us a blank space, a rough idea, or even a “this might sound crazy,” and we’ll take it from there.

I’ve been with the company for over 20 years, and I turn a client’s initial ideas into fully developed floor plans that thousands of attendees experience. That process often starts with a hand-sketched concept and develops into a fully realized layout that can be implemented on-site while meeting all applicable building codes. Whether it’s a small 10-booth show or a large-scale event with hundreds of exhibitors, I collaborate with our team and our clients at every stage.

The thing always guaranteed to brighten my day is my family.

Graphics Manager

I’ve been helping turn our clients’ visions into reality at AEX for over 14 years. I enjoy every step of the process, from designing and proofing graphics to overseeing final print production. My favorite part is seeing an empty space transform into something incredible and knowing it came from a great team effort.

Outside of work, if either Top Gun: Maverick or The Intern is on TV, I’ll probably stop whatever I’m doing to watch. On the weekends, I’m either relaxing on the couch with my dog curled up beside me.

Design Services Director

I’ve been in the events industry for 20 years, and my current role focuses on producing creative work that drives revenue growth. I do that best by working one-on-one with clients to develop ideas, and people are often surprised by how much I care and the level of detail I put into my work. It’s just how I’m wired.

That same energy carries over at home, where I’m not afraid to build or create something instead of calling a contractor. On the weekends, you’ll usually find me at a sports field for my kids.

VP of Creative Strategy & Operations

I’ve been in this industry for 34 years, and my approach comes down to something that might sound simple: listening. Asking the right questions is key to bringing a unique, personalized design experience to our clients.

Here’s something people are always surprised to learn: Stephen King taught my high school creative writing class. I like to think some of that storytelling rubbed off. When I’m not working, I’m chilling out, thinking about golfing (which I don’t do enough) — or rewatching Mad Men for what might be the sixth time.

Chief Commercial Officer

My job is all about alignment: getting sales, marketing, and operations pulling in the same direction. When that clicks, everything gets easier.

I almost became a lawyer. I still build cases, challenge weak thinking, and argue for the best outcome. I just do it in business. Outside of work, I’m a puzzle person. I like figuring things out and connecting the pieces. On weekends, I’m usually outside with good people or planning my next vacation.

Quick Answers

The AEX Creative/Design team works across event branding, signage, graphics, environmental design, custom exhibits, SpaceScapes™, and other visual elements that shape how an event or exhibit looks and feels.

Yes. Creative can start from scratch or build from an existing brand, theme, visual system, or creative direction, depending on what already exists and what the project needs.

Earlier involvement creates more opportunity to connect the idea, visual language, physical environment, and attendee experience before individual pieces are developed in isolation.
