Account Management
I’ve been in the events industry for six years, and one of the best parts of my job is working with seasoned professionals from so many different backgrounds — I have an amazing group of mentors to learn from. I like to collaborate and workshop with clients from the very start of the planning process, building trust through thoughtful recommendations and honest feedback.
I’m a certified hobby enthusiast. Reading is one of my favorites, so ask me what we’re reading for this week’s book club! Secret talent? I can wiggle my ears.
I’ve been in the events industry for seven years, and one of my favorite moments is the morning before a show opens. That’s when months of planning come together, and you can see the final result. My approach with clients is to ask the “why” and “what if” questions. As we dive into the heart of their plans, I can help complete the picture and make it a reality.
I have been, currently am, and always will be obsessed with DC Comics. My karaoke picks are both country: “Firecracker” by Josh Turner or “Sunny & 75” by Joe Nichols.
I’ve been with this company for 13 years, and the best part of my job is seeing the show come together: bringing team members from floor plan, graphics, and ops all into the same room to make it happen. My experience as an operations manager and sales definitely helps me understand how all the individual parts move.
If I’m not at showsite, I’m probably outside with my family. Downhill mountain biking, rock climbing, snowboarding, running marathons — I’m definitely an active adventure enthusiast. If Karaoke happens, I’m going straight to “Ice Ice Baby.” No hesitation.
I’ve worked in the events industry for over 20 years, and these days I’m responsible for ensuring our clients’ expectations are exceeded when it comes to the structural integrity of their custom exhibits.
That same precision carries over to my other passion: custom woodworking projects. I know better than to subject anyone to my singing chops, but my secret talent is playing the keyboard and piano. I even wrote my wife’s wedding song!
I’ve worked in the events world for over six years, and it’s my passion! I love getting to know our clients, immersing myself in their vision, and building authentic relationships along the way. I believe teamwork and connection bring all the moving pieces together to create an intentional, memorable event.
Another passion of mine is traveling and experiencing new cultures. I’ve visited more than 13 countries, with Croatia currently holding the top spot as my favorite. At home, I’m usually taking on a creative project. I embroider, DIY just about everything, and I’m currently teaching myself to sew!
The best part of my job is working with our team. Flexibility and constant communication are everything in this role.
Outside of work, I’m big on needlepointing and crafting. I host a book club once a month, but I’m also a major concert person. I’ve seen Stevie Nicks multiple times, so trust me when I say I’m picking anything by Fleetwood Mac for karaoke.
I’m passionate about creating, whether it’s bringing a client’s event vision to life or making something with my hands. Painting, pottery, woodworking, and metal fabrication: if I can build it, I’m interested. Before AEX, I designed and built about 60% of the bars in my hometown of Greenville, South Carolina.
These days, I’m working on knocking off every national park and waterfall on my outdoors bucket list. My favorite place I’ve visited so far? Pariah, Utah. If my life were a movie, Ryan Reynolds would narrate it, and my karaoke picks are Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” or Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club.” I contain multitudes.
After 15 years in events, I see account managers as the industry’s air traffic controllers. Our job is to keep everything aligned, from site visit to load out, and make it look easy. It’s important to me that our shows don’t just run smoothly, but actually stand out.
Outside of work, I’m either at the barn training and competing with my horses, deep in some new AI rabbit hole, or rewatching classic 90’s TV. If my life had a movie trailer, Bob Ross would narrate the opening, and John Goodman would carry the rest. My motto is: live life like Gus. If you don’t know what that means, just ask.
I have 26 years of event experience, and my main role today is removing obstacles so our team and customers have a positive experience working with AEX. I bring a client’s vision to life by listening and communicating that vision to our internal teams.
On the weekends, you can find me by the water, attending a sporting event, or spending time with my family. My go-to karaoke song is Kenny Rogers’ “The Gambler,” which honestly feels about right.
My job is all about alignment: getting sales, marketing, and operations pulling in the same direction. When that clicks, everything gets easier.
I almost became a lawyer. I still build cases, challenge weak thinking, and argue for the best outcome. I just do it in business. Outside of work, I’m a puzzle person. I like figuring things out and connecting the pieces. On weekends, I’m usually outside with good people or planning my next vacation.
