CYTO Annual Meeting

CYTO brings together a global community of scientists, researchers, clinicians, engineers, and industry leaders exploring the technologies shaping the future of cytometry. Scientific programming is at the center, but the exhibit environment plays an important role too, connecting the people developing the science with the companies building the tools that move it forward.

For Kris Herlitz, who manages exhibits and sponsorships across medical and scientific meetings, making that environment work comes down to something deceptively simple: partnership. Communication has to stay open. Problems have to become shared problems. And when something shifts onsite, everyone has to be willing to solve it first and sort out the rest later.

That philosophy shows up in the moments attendees rarely see: finding a smarter way to avoid unnecessary rigging costs, shifting an entire team when a setup sequence suddenly changes, or simply knowing the people on the floor well enough that everyone can move together when it matters.

Because behind a meeting built around innovation is another kind of innovation: figuring out, together, how to make the experience work better.
